Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.Test Equipment and Environments team at Raytheon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team as an Electrical Computer Aided Designer (eCAD) Engineer.This position is 100% ONSITE in Tucson, AZWhat You Will DoIn this role, you will work closely with circuit design engineers and engineers of all disciplines and backgrounds to implement, draw and/or layout printed wiring boards using various electrical and mechanical tools, such as Mentor Xpedition and BluePrint for the drawing documentation.<ul><li> Responsible for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) designs from conception to manufacturing</li><li>Creation of the PCB, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), and Schematic drawings for suppliers</li><li>Schematic Capture, Component Placement, Routing of Traces, Gerber/ODB++ file creation</li><li>Utilize software such as Siemens: Xpedition Enterprise and DownStream Technologies: BluePrint-PCB</li><li>Design layouts include Rigid, Flex, and Rigid-Flex assemblies</li><li>Work designs include full designs, re-spins, drawing updates, change notices, copper changes, and process improvement projects within and outside of discipline</li><li>Daily interface with various engineering levels and engineering disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical, Components, Test, and Producibility Engineering to ensure overall design requirements are captured for cost, cycle time, and producibility</li></ul>Qualifications You Must Have<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)</li><li>Minimum of five (5) years experience with the electrical engineering design process</li><li>Typically requires experience with at least one (1) of the following:<ul><li>Experience with PCB or CCA manufacturing principles that affect circuitry and component layout</li><li>Experience with layout of Rigid, Flex, or Rigid-Flex boards</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
