None/Not RequiredA Senior Analyst, Global Trade (GT) is a Jurisdiction & Classification (JC) and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) support analyst within the GT Technology Management (TM) team. Familiarity with both export and import regulations, this position requires both an understanding of the products and the regulations surrounding their export and import controls.
This role will be hybrid, the preferred candidate will be available to work at one of our Collins Aerospace - Avionics locations in Cedar Rapids, IA, Burnsville, MN, Melbourne, FL, Wilson, NC, Wilsonville, OR, Decorah, IA, Manchester, IA, Atlanta, GA, Bellevue, IA, Wichita, KS, Federal Way, WA, Huntsville, AL, Raleigh, NC, Moorestown, NJ, Richardson, TX, Calexico, CA, Or Bothell WA.
What YOU Will Do:
- Working under/within the following U.S. Regulations; Export Administration Regulation (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and HTS
- Perform JC classifications.
- Perform HTS classifications.
- Support investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures.
- Administrative support of the ERP and classification repositories.
- Support Senior GT Technology Management, metrics, and process improvements.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Qualifications We Prefer:
- BS/MS Engineering or Business Administration
- Engineering and/or technical background
- Aerospace (program/technical) experience
- Experience with classifications under the World Customs Organization (WCO) HTS
- Experience with US Export (classification) Regulations; specifically, the EAR and the Commerce Control List (CCL), ITAR and the United States Munitions List (USML)
- 1 to 2 years working with GT and related export/HTS classification matters
- Experience with Collins/RTX current trade compliance related processes (classifications, authorizations, logging, compliant transfer modes, record keeping, etc.) and Collins specific GT related systems (GTS, OCR, MKDenial, xClass, TEXPORT) is a plus.
