Are you ready to go beyond?This is an opportunity for a highly motivated, team-oriented Buyer / Planner to join Pratt &amp; Whitney Columbus Engine Center’s(CEC) Repair Management Team (1st shift).  This position is responsible for the management of material sent out for repair from two other engine repair sitesIf you have a strong interest and experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Procurement, we encourage you to apply today!What You Will Do:<ul><li>Creation and end-to-end management of repair purchase orders in support of two engine repair facilities located in Oklahoma and San Francisco</li><li>Manage critical shortages in support of 100% on time delivery of repairs to customers</li><li>Provide timely support of business reporting requirements and deliverables</li><li>Monitoring and escalation of systemic issues</li><li>Achieve the highest levels of customer support to our engine repair sites and other internal/external stakeholders</li><li>Adhere to all standard work, purchasing policies, procedures, and processes</li><li>PO issue resolution</li><li>Standard work development, as required</li></ul>Qualifications You Must Have:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience with buyer/planner activities, material management, supply chain Or an Advanced Degree and 3 years of experience as listed above.</li><li>Internal/External customer relationship management</li><li>M.S. Office and SAP intermediate user</li></ul>Qualifications We Prefer:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree STEM fields preferred.</li><li>Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Supplier Management.</li><li>Knowledge of international trade compliance regulations related to material logistics.</li><li>Aerospace or Aftermarket Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) industry experience (highly preferred).</li><li>Demonstrated issue resolution skills (both vendor- and customer-facing).</li><li>Organizational and project management skills; PMP certification preferred.</li><li>Lean manufacturing experience, and/or Six-Sigma training.</li><li>Experience with continuous improvement methodologies</li><li>Ability to work across and communicate with all levels of the organization.</li></ul>Learn More and Apply:In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
