Raytheon UK’s long heritage of AJ GPS Technology can be found on land, air and maritime platforms.Dedicated high volume Space Grade manufacturing facility with CCA lines qualified for Space, all supported by a highly skilled experienced workforce.About the role: Responsible for the design, manufacture, verification and validation, along with through life technical support of board level, sub-system and system level test equipment.Skills and Experience <ul><li>Test software design experience.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of analogue and digital electronic circuit design.</li><li>Ability to write comprehensive technical design documentation.</li><li>Proven experience in handover and management of designs in production.</li><li>Excellent hardware troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Able to support/debug system integration</li><li>Must be eligible for MOD Security Clearance to a minimum of SC level</li></ul>Highly Desirable: <ul><li>Significant test development experience in industry.</li><li>Use of Mentor Graphics schematic entry and PCB layout tools.</li><li>Understanding of common test architectures PXI/d LXI</li><li>Measurement Uncertainty and its application in test equipment design and validation</li><li>Software Certification or detailed knowledge of: NI LabView, NI CVI, NI TestStand, C#</li><li>Design of mix signal circuits</li><li>High speed serial networks</li><li>An appreciation of RF electronics</li><li>Knowledge of power supply design</li></ul>Responsibilities <ul><li>Design of functional test equipment for circuit cards, sub-assemblys and systems.</li><li>To take responsibility for the design and overall quality of the test equipment and provide leadership and guidance for junior engineers.</li><li>Documentation of design specifications and implementation details. Take part in design reviews.
