Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Raytheon is seeking an Hardware Quality Engineer II providing engineering support and expertise to Raytheon Airborne Systems to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements.This position will provide education and knowledge on the use of quality resources in the administration of the Quality System. They will manage projects and/or processes with minimal oversight and provide measurable input to new products, processes, or standards in operational plans to implement customer integrations and/or objectives. The position works in a SCIF environment with flexible work hours to accommodate work/life balance practices.NOTE - This position does not provide relocation assistance.What You Will Do<ul><li>Lead Quality functions within assigned work center(s) within the multi-platform process</li><li>Lead and/or participate in root cause analysis and CORE initiatives</li><li>Manage Quality specific metrics within work center</li><li>Be a leader among your peers related to Quality knowledge and processes</li><li>Actively pursue methods and process to improve overall Quality of our product</li></ul>Qualifications You Must Have<ul><li>Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two (2) years of prior relevant experience</li><li>Experience with AS 9100 quality management systems or equivalent </li><li>Experience in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions </li><li>Experience with Six Sigma methodology (CORE) and tools such as lean manufacturing, diagnostic, process optimization and continuous improvement </li><li>Experience with microelectronic fab, manufacturing and assembly  </li><li>Experience with calibration of tools and equipment  </li><li>Experience with both Excel and PowerPoint to create presentation</li><li>The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
