Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.Raytheons Field Engineering team is seeking an Senior Field Service Representative to provide field service support Land Phalanx Weapon Systems (LPWS).<ul><li>This unaccompanied role is a rotational deployment to CENTCOM OCONUS locations for extended terms with additional compensation.</li><li>When not on deployment this role will be Onsite at Fort Sill, OK with availability for assignments to various CONUS/OCONUS sites.</li><li>Relocation Assistance is available.</li></ul>Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.What You Will Do<ul><li>Provide subject matter support.</li><li>Evaluate, assess, and provide training to force protection personnel on all configurations of the system.</li><li>Inspect, test, and align the designated systems appropriate specifications.</li><li>Utilize schematics, drawings, specifications, and General Purpose Electrical / Electronic Test Equipment (GPETE) to troubleshoot and repair faults in the systems / equipment.</li><li>Provide up to date training in the operation, maintenance, alignment, and repair of the system.</li><li>Provide support in obtaining OEM data (drawings, test data, etc.) through proper channels.</li><li>Develop and support the installation, repair, maintenance, and operation of all aspects of the equipment, and communications and electro-optical equipment</li><li>Evaluate and document field operational capability and report results to customer and program office.</li><li>Perform routine system maintenance and computer system administrative functions, as well as analysis of system operations.</li><li>Perform other technical duties as assigned.</li></ul>Special Work Conditions<ul><li>Extensive travel will be required; up to 100% to include other international destinations.</li><li>Some locations will be in the middle east desert with temperatures above 120 degrees F.</li><li>Willing and able to deploy to remote international locations with little notification.</li><li>Willing and able to deploy to environments that may include harsh living conditions (extreme heat and cold, deployed living conditions and / or hostile work environment.</li><li>Willing and able to move and / or transport weights such as test equipment, ladders, instruments, and cable reels weighing up to 60 pounds using proper lifting techniques or material moving equipment.</li><li>Willing and able to work 12-16 hours a day and be on call 24/7.</li><li>Willing and able to traverse platforms.</li><li>Willing and able to work in a bivouac environment.</li><li>Willing and able to travel over rough, uneven terrain. </li></ul>Qualifications You Must Have<ul><li>Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years’ experience.</li><li>Advanced Close-in Weapon System (CIWS) military training.</li><li>Experience in combat systems support.</li><li>Experience in trouble shooting and maintenance of the weapon system.</li><li>Experience in fault detection, isolation, and correction of computer systems and peripheral devices.</li><li>Experience with systems integration, software, and electro-mechanical systems.</li><li>Comprehension of military protocol and using operating systems and database administration systems.</li><li>Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance or INTERIM Clearance is required prior to start date. </li><li>U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.</li></ul>Qualifications We Prefer<ul><li>Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.</li><li>Prior field experience and / or military service with land-based weapon systems.</li><li>Ability to plan, schedule and complete all activities required to meet established goals.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work autonomously.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul>What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
