Are you ready to go beyond?  What You Will Do<ul><li>Work with Structures, Aerodynamic and manufacturing engineers to automate compute intensive processes across the engine lifecycle (design, production, and aftermarket).</li><li>Develop and maintain technical components, services, and integrations that extend the capabilities of engineering workflow applications</li><li>Build foundational modules, reusable logic, and frameworks to drive application development in support of internal Engineering and operations customers.</li><li>Collaborate closely with internal customers to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions</li><li>Work with the development team and stakeholders to guide platform standards, architectural patterns</li><li>Use high level programing languages ( primarily, Python) to build scalable enterprise applications as well as architect and deploy solutions as scalable microservices on Amazon Web Services</li><li>10% of Travel is expected</li></ul>What You Will Learn<ul><li>This position is a part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP). EDP participants will complete three to four rotations to build technical breadth and leadership abilities before graduating from the program.</li></ul>Qualifications You Must Have<ul><li>Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field</li><li>Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0</li></ul>Qualifications We Prefer<ul><li>Experience in software engineering</li><li>Experience in mechanical design and analysis, or manufacturing engineering.</li><li>Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry</li><li>Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas</li><li>Experience with the Python programming language for automation</li><li>Experience with modern application architecture, particularly serverless cloud architecture and experience with containerization</li><li>Amazon Web Services Certification</li><li>Experience with SCRUM &amp; Agile project management methodologies</li><li>Experience with GitHub, JIRA or other code management and product management software</li><li>Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical users</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Relocation will be offered for those who qualify.</li><li>Selected candidate will be automatically enrolled in the P&amp;W Engineering Development Program (Rotational Program within P&amp;W).</li><li>Eligible for the Employee Scholar Program on Day 1.</li><li>On the job training provided.</li></ul>Learn More &amp; Apply Now!This position is classified as remote. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
