We have an exciting remote opportunity for an Enterprise Architecture, Standard and Governance Senior Lead.

What You Will Do:

This role is responsible for leading the Standards & Governance function for Enterprise Architecture (EA), acting as a key leader in the EA organization, responsible for maturing the practice of EA at P&W, developing long term technology strategies, and driving governance and standardization.

This role will be responsible to develop and deliver a robust architecture approach and working with the head of architecture strategy, ensure that EA is delivering the needed support to key P&W stakeholders.

This key role will be to lead a team of EAs tasked with developing reference architectures, technology standards  and architecture guidance for all parts of P&W with a focus on model-based approaches, leading the global Architecture Review Board process, and ensuring all of P&W understands the global EA approach and value.

This individual will take ownership of the governance process for architecture and ensure architecture delivery is meeting P&W goals and that teams across P&W have the clear guidance needed to deliver value-added solutions.

This role will be expected to provide STRONG leadership, overall technical direction to technology and business teams, and guidance to stakeholders based on enterprise standards.

Partner extensively with all parts of the Pratt & Whitney stakeholders, to ensure the EA practice is meeting company needs.

Act as a thought leader, operating across all of P&Ws Technical Platform Areas, (e.g. ERP, CRM, PLM, MES, Ecommerce, Contract Life Cycle Management, Customer Data Platform, etc.) and provide guidance on a global scale regarding Industry Best Practices for architecture.

Demonstrated experience in process mapping, architecting, and optimization for digital transformation of major industrial, manufacturing, or A&D organization.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems and 12+ years of experience in Information Technology that includes 8+ years acting as a senior solution architect for major systems and/or an enterprise architect, leading large scale technology implementations, and 6+ years of experience as an enterprise level business/process/technology architect; OR an Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems and 10+ years of experience in Information Technology that includes 8+ years acting as a senior solution architect for major systems and/or an enterprise architect, leading large scale technology implementations, and 6+ years of experience as an enterprise level business/process/technology architect.

- Experience implementing global processes and practices for architecture, to include documenting or creating governance and standards.

- Knowledge and experience working in Agile / Scrum teams, including daily standups, retrospectives, demos/reviews.

- Experience with modern architecture frameworks and designs that support successful DevSecOps pipeline delivery.

- Ability to provide strategic technical leadership and lead by influence the creation of long-term strategy (e.g., more than 3 years) roadmaps in a virtual environment.

- Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills, can develop clear, concise, and logically written business communications, as well as deliver recommendations.

- Demonstrated effectiveness working in a complex, service-intensive, deadline-driven environment.

- Ability to build strong relationships to leverage information and insights across key groups.

- Strong personal leadership, organizational, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

- Outstanding formal and informal presentation skills.

- Self-starter with self-confidence, enthusiasm, a strong customer service orientation, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams and developing people.

- Skilled at leading teams through change and times of ambiguity with a positive, constructive, solution-oriented approach.

- Sound understanding of the enterprise architecture practice and the means of establishing and evolving an enterprise architecture practice in a manufacturing industry.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
