Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.The Raytheon team is looking for a Sr DevSecOps (DSO) Engineer to support our radar programs and the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) Software (SW) Department.  The MDS SW mission is to provide world class Radar and Command and Control (C2) Software for our customers’ wide array of Surveillance and Warning Systems. They will have a strong background in pipelines and tooling, and the ability to work 100% onsite and collaboratively with a team.The job location for this opportunity is in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.What You Will Do<ul><li>Work on an agile team responsible for developing and delivering software for one of the MDS Department’s programs.</li></ul>Specific responsibilities include:<ul><li>Design, develop, and test software in an agile, collaborative environment.</li><li>Debug existing software and correct defects.</li><li>Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.</li><li>Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software build process standards.</li></ul>Qualifications You Must Have<ul><li>Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.</li><li>Experience in software build deployments, containerization methodologies (e.g. Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Ansible, Terraform).</li><li>Experience developing software in a team-based development environment using the Agile Scrum or Kanban framework</li><li>Ability to obtain U.S. government issued Interim Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
