None/Not RequiredMission Systems Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) is seeking a self-motivated, innovative leader who embraces change and can adapt quickly in a rapidly-changing business environment. As a SIOP leader, you will have the opportunity to influence key business objectives such as Sales, inventory/cash flow, and cost. You will gain exposure to many aspects of the Enterprise; including Business Development, Value Stream Leader, Master Scheduling, Manufacturing, Material & Supply, Logistics, and Finance. A successful leader in this role will drive the creation of a strong cross functional team to enable collaboration and business success.
This position is responsible for forecasting activities that support business financial objectives, identifying and creating continuous improvement opportunities utilizing the CORE operating system. This includes assessment, interpretation, and analysis of data to develop a thorough and appraised Mission Systems demand, supply and inventory forecast and areas of risk requiring mitigation plans.
What You Will Do
- Align all portions of the business to standard Mission SIOP process to optimize financial results
- Lead repeatable process to identify, understand, and communicate sales/demand forecast drivers and applicable risk and opportunities to lead/support monthly demand and supply reviews, Long range planning and inventory activities
- Implement SIOP process and systems in conjunction with Collins Aerospace SIOP best practices
- Responsible for evaluating, coaching, guidance and identifying learning opportunities to all Materials & SIOP staff
- Utilize key performance indicators associated with materials management performance and reports and oversee corrective and preventive countermeasures
- Develop and communicate key messages for Mission System Operations and Mission Systems businesses around hardware plans and inventory
- Utilize analytical skills to review historical sales trends, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast results
- Additional responsibilities include driving change, standardization, continuous improvement, and best practice in process, systems, and tools to meet expected company financial and process metrics, goals, and objectives
- Multi-site coverage -must be willing to travel
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Ability to travel 20% of the time
- Working knowledge and ERP experience is a must (SAP is preferred) to include MRO/Materials and Supply Chain
Qualifications We Prefer
- B.S. in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or other related field is preferred
- Experience minimum of 10 years of supply chain, S&OP or other related expertise
- APICS Certification preferred (CPIM, CSCP)
- Requires intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Software (i.e. Excel, Visio etc.) as well as Business Intelligence Software including Business Objects and Tableau

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
