Job Description:The Store Operations Manager is responsible for leading store operations initiatives including but not limited to facilities (40% of the role), loss prevention/safety/security (30% of the role), PO management and other operational work across multiple retail locations around the world (30% of the role). This role ensures operational excellence by developing processes, managing vendors, and maintaining brand standards through timely, cost-effective solutions. Acting as the primary decision-maker for facilities, loss prevention, safety and security, the role partners with leadership to minimize disruption, enforce safety and risk management protocols, and supporting compliance through audits and continuous improvement.<h1></h1><h1>What are we looking for?</h1><ul><li>Minimum of 6 years of progressive responsibility in Retail Business Operations, Business Optimization, Project Management or Sales &amp; Operations Planning.</li><li>Experience in working in a multi-channel / multi-geography retail business</li><li>Strong stakeholder management and proven influencing skills</li><li>Highly organized, accurate and calendar driven, with ability to handle many competing priorities.</li><li>Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision</li><li>Proficient in MS Office applications</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all aspects of the business</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred; however, candidates with an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education will be considered.</li></ul><h1>What will be your key responsibilities?</h1>Operations<ul><li>Oversee and assess facilities, safety, security and loss prevention policies and protocols across locations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company standards.</li><li>Provide insights and recommendations to leadership to reduce incident rates and improve overall safety and security for both Associates and guests.</li><li>Lead facilities management across assigned locations by developing effective policies, managing vendors, and ensuring all work is timely, cost-effective, and meets brand standards.</li><li>Serve as the key decision-maker for facilities work in stores, partnering closely with store leadership to address needs and minimize disruptions.</li><li>Establish clear vendor expectations, performance metrics, and follow-up mechanisms to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.</li><li>Conduct audits and establish follow-up mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of facilities, safety, security and loss prevention efforts and processes.</li><li>Provides guidance and support to stores throughout the end-to-end purchase order (PO) process, including creation, submission, and ongoing management.</li></ul>Reporting, Budgeting &amp; Training<ul><li>Provides guidance and support to stores throughout the end-to-end purchase order (PO) process, including creation, submission, and ongoing management.</li><li>Maintain and update the Everbridge system/Emergency Action Plans and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure all safety and security training and best practices remain current and consistent across locations.</li><li>Partner with Store Leadership, Finance and Commercial teams to ensure alignment with budget targets and support the 3-year CAPEX planning process, including store construction and long-lead items.</li><li>Provide stores with continuous support and training throughout the end-to-end purchase order (PO) process, ensuring a standardized tracking and reporting process globally.</li></ul>Relationships &amp; Collaboration<ul><li>Develop a strong connection with the Mars Global Security team to streamline support, enhance training initiatives, and facilitate the sharing of best practices, ensuring a robust security framework that aligns with Mars commitment to safety and compliance.</li><li>Partner with Store teams to manage Security staffing, monitor risk, and conduct investigations into incidents, theft, and shrink, providing recommendations to leadership.</li><li>Work closely with the Commercial team to ensure vendor selection meets standards, fostering strong partnerships that uphold brand reputation.</li><li>Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Store Ops, Store Teams, S&amp;F, P&amp;O, Commercial, Security, Mars Global Services vendors and other external partners.</li></ul>Project &amp;
