POSITION

RBC is offering a unique Q4 2025 internship opportunity to spend 3 months with a start date of September / October 2025 in our Frankfurt office.

As a Global Markets Intern, you will have a chance to apply your academic knowledge to practical financial experience. Your responsibilities will include supporting senior colleagues with research, evaluation, monitoring markets, developing trade ideas, and learning about the products offered to clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Gain a good understanding of Spread & Macro and Equities sales and trading roles
• Develop knowledge of client needs and requirements
• Rotate across Spread & Macro and Equities during the internship to build up good working knowledge of the Global Markets business
• During rotations, support teams throughout the duration of the internship with internal and external projects, note taking, daily calls.
• Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders.
• Complete ad hoc projects and duties as required
• Complete classroom based training and e-learning modules as instructed

Job Responsibilities

• Strong working relationships with GM program sponsors and stakeholders.
• Establish working relationships with rotation managers and colleagues. Establish relationships with peers in all Euro offices.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required

• Strong academic education
• Start date September / October 2025
• Fluency in English and German
• Strong numerical, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interest in global financial markets

• Knowledge of Global Markets environment.
