The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues. This position requires an individual who can provide prompt and effective support, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the initial point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via chat, email or phone.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues, providing step-by-step instructions to guide users through solutions.</li><li>Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and relevant questions.</li><li>Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams as necessary.</li><li>Keep record of problems and their resolution by maintaining technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting.</li><li>Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.</li><li>Support users with software installation, email configuration, and other IT-related tasks.</li><li>Provide basic training and guidance to users to improve their understanding of IT systems.</li><li>Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.</li><li>Provide needed information on IT products or services that are based on Global IT processes.</li><li>Provide IT Support to offices based in SEA in accordance with the timezone.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional IT certifications are an advantage.</li><li>At least 1 year of working experience in a customer service or technical support role preferred.</li><li>Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.</li><li>Fluency in speaking and writing English and a local language.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.</li><li>Candidate ideally must be agile and has a positive attitude.</li><li>Team and service oriented.</li><li>Good interpersonal skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.</li><li>1 year contract-based position </li></ul><p> </p><ol></ol><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ol><li>Competitive salary and benefits package.</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and development.</li><li>Dynamic, collaborative and supportive work environment.</li></ol>
