This role serves as a foundational position within the Deal Desk career path, providing opportunities to develop skills, gain experience, and potentially advance to more senior roles within the team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for quoting, pricing, deal flow, and order processing for the sales organization.</li><li>Proactively assume end-to-end responsibility for assigned quote approval requests.:</li><li>Provide guidance on deal flow process, business terms and conditions, and elevate specialized issues for approval and resolution.</li><li>Provide guidance to Sales on complex deal structures including high-value transactions during corporate review and approval.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Order Management, Finance, Product, and Legal teams on contractual redlines to efficiently process agreements.</li><li>Provide a high level of communication, coordination, and support throughout the sales process ensuring accurate and timely transactions.</li><li>Work with the Finance and Sales to ensure sales transacts quickly and efficiently during the approval process.</li><li>Follow established Deal Desk processes and procedures and escalate complex or unusual order situations to senior team members and/or management as necessary.</li><li>Assume responsibility for logging partner deal registrations while taking appropriate actions to address any discrepancies.</li></ul><div>Required Qualifications: <ul><li>At least 2 years of experience in Deal Desk, Deal Review or similar role in the software industry.</li><li>Knowledge of pricing and revenue recognition principles</li><li>Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and colleagues, as well as customers</li><li>Experience working with Salesforce, or other CRM tool</li><li>High computer application literacy including Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>SFDC, CPQ, CLM, and DocuSign experience a plus.</li><li>Committed to Rocket’s core values of empathy, humanity, trust and love</li></ul></div>Information Security:Information security is everyone’s responsibility.  A fundamental principle of information security at Rocket Software is that all individuals in the organization have a responsibility for the security and protection of company information and IT Resources over which they have control, according to their role.Diversity, Inclusion &amp; Equity:At Rocket we are committed to an inclusive workplace environment, where every Rocketeer can thrive by bringing their full selves to work.
