What You’ll Do:  <ul> <li>Architect and implement scalable solutions to support a growing number of users and advertising campaigns.  </li> <li>Develop and maintain high-performance ad-serving systems to ensure reliable ad delivery.  </li> <li>Build innovative ad products to simplify ad operations and streamline sales workflows.  </li> <li>Collaborate with internal data platform teams to prototype and validate in-house tools for data analysis, algorithm automation, and data-driven decision-making.  </li> <li>Collaborate with other teams and third-party services to seamlessly integrate the ad serving pipeline with relevance, targeting, bidding, and asset serving systems.</li> <li>Develop scalable data pipelines and systems to support ad measurement, ROI analysis, and revenue attribution.  </li> <li>Continuously monitor and optimize system performance to identify and address bottlenecks, enhancing ad delivery efficiency.</li> </ul> What You’ll Bring:  <ul> <li>Broad knowledge of ad tech and the advertising landscape, programmatic advertising, and digital marketing trends</li> <li>Good product sense and prior experience designing and launching product features</li> <li>Exceptional ability to work with and refactor legacy code effectively, adapting to frequent requirement changes.</li> <li>Exceptional skill in debugging production issues, especially for ad impressions on remote devices.</li> <li>Exceptional familiarity with distributed backend systems in cloud environments, including databases, caching, and application code.</li> <li>Proficiency with integrating third-party software and REST APIs, even with challenging documentation or systems.</li> <li>Proficiency in JavaScript across legacy and modern Chromium browsers.</li> <li>Proficiency with SQL, data warehousing concepts, query optimization, data streaming, and role-based access control.</li> <li>Strong algorithmic thinking ability, particularly for developing ad fill optimization strategies.</li> <li>Ability to rapidly translate high-level product requirements into concrete full-stack prototypes and solutions.</li> <li>Familiarity with the VAST specification and client-side ad SDKs (e.g., PAL SDK, OM SDK, IMA SDK).</li> <li>Familiarity with video streaming/playback technologies (including on-device) and Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI).</li> <li>Experience with front-end development tasks.</li> </ul> About Rockbot:  Rockbot is an omnichannel media platform committed to elevating customer and employee experiences while fostering stronger connections in real-world spaces. Compensation: Rockbot takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location in the U.S. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
