As the Senior Enigneering Manager for Ridgeline’s Agent Foundry team, you will play a central leadership role in delivering AI-native experiences that help investment professionals streamline workflows and make smarter decisions. Agent Foundry is a team of full-stack engineers building intelligent agents that automate work, generate insights, and provide domain-aware assistance. In this role, you’ll also leverage cutting-edge technologies—including AI tools like Cursor and ChatGPT—to accelerate team productivity and innovation. What will you do? <ul> <li>Lead a team of engineers developing AI-powered agent workflows and infrastructure embedded in Ridgeline’s unified cloud platform</li> <li>Collaborate with product, AI, and design leaders to align technical strategy with customer value and roadmap priorities</li> <li>Contribute to the codebase during key initiatives while guiding overall architecture and development standards</li> <li>Coach, mentor, and inspire engineers to grow in their careers and deliver high-quality, scalable software</li> <li>Establish engineering processes and rituals that promote velocity, reliability, and ownership</li> <li>Advocate for scalable abstractions and resilient agent orchestration that supports rapid iteration and learning</li> <li>Integrate best-in-class generative AI practices including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), structured prompting, and LLM observability into production pipelines</li> <li>Drive alignment across engineering, product, and design in a multi-location organization</li> <li>Foster a learning culture that encourages experimentation, shared knowledge, and inclusivity</li> <li>Champion high standards of code quality, testing, and operational excellence</li> <li>Represent engineering in strategic planning and cross-functional initiatives</li> </ul> Desired Skills and Experience <ul> <li>7+ years in a hands-on software engineering management role, including experience architecting and delivering cloud-native applications</li> <li>Proven success building and leading high-performing engineering teams, ideally in AI or data-intensive product environments</li> <li>Expertise with modern tech stacks (e.g., Kotlin, Java, React, TypeScript, AWS)</li> <li>Familiarity with deploying LLMs and related tools in production systems</li> <li>Deep understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, and performance optimization</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders</li> <li>Ability to manage competing priorities while supporting innovation and long-term strategy</li> <li>Commitment to building equitable, inclusive, and engaged teams</li> <li>Enthusiasm for experimentation, public learning, and embracing the evolving AI landscape</li> </ul> Bonus <ul> <li>Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation, agent frameworks, or vector databases</li> <li>Background in financial technology, especially investment operations or compliance workflows</li> <li>Contributions to open-source, developer tooling, or engineering enablement efforts</li> <li>Experience with AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, or Amazon Bedrock</li> <li>Track record of building inclusive hiring practices or driving DEI initiatives within engineering organizations</li> </ul> About Ridgeline Ridgeline is the industry cloud platform for investment management. Compensation and Benefits  The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including, the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.  The typical starting salary range for this role is: $200,000-$235,000.  The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is: $212,500-$250,000.
