We are seeking extraordinary talent for this game changing opportunity to help forge this transformational journey at ReversingLabs.We are on the hunt for a VP of Product Marketing with rich expertise in cybersecurity - specifically with a background in malware analysis and threat intelligence, and/or Application Security (AppSec) and software development lifecycle (SDLC), particularly in AST, SCA, or SAST. The VP of Product Marketing will be an experienced executive responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and managing the overall product marketing strategy. In addition to a solid understanding of the cybersecurity domains RL plays in, the role will define RL’s positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation. This role will be essential in building a product marketing department focused on accelerating go-to-market clarity to drive differentiation and growth. The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing leader with experience in high-growth organizations and in building efficient, scalable, and profitable, rocket-ship growth. A track record in defining new market categories and supporting the development of multi-touch, targeted marketing campaign strategies demand generation teams is a must. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of cybersecurity technologies, customer pain points, and marketing messaging, as well as a proven track record of producing industry, product, and technical messaging and content that effectively communicates the value and benefits of RL’s technology and solutions to customers and prospects. This role will report to the CMO.<h3>Responsibilities</h3>Develop and manage RL’s core use case messaging and positioning, as well as manage the Product Marketing team. Implement and manage cross-functional processes supporting messaging and campaign strategy development and new product introduction engagement, including sales enablement and sales support. <ul> <li>Manage the marketing product launch process, including acting as an evangelist for new product capabilities. </li> <li>Understand market trends, customer requirements, product use cases and buying behavior, supporting corporate strategic and tactical campaign activities.</li> <li>Day-to-day and long-term management of our competitive landscape, with the ability to adjust messaging, positioning, and supported collateral to maintain competitive differentiation. </li> <li>Develop and curate strong and pointed messaging, campaign, and sales enablement assets including presentations, videos, demos, solution maps, white papers, data sheets for learning purposes. </li> <li>Educate the market about RL’s value offerings through multiple collateral such as demos, white-papers, workshops, presentations, and technical blogs, driving views of that content,</li> <li>Assist with the RL customer reference program to engage our customers and to showcase customer success and value realization achieved using RL.</li> <li>Work closely with Demand Generation, Field Marketing, Channel Marketing, Sales Enablement, Sales, and RL executives </li> <li>Craft engaging audience-specific content, including case studies, solution briefs, web content, presentations, data sheets, whitepapers and sales playbooks that can be utilized globally.</li> <li>Manage and expand RL’s industry analyst program to advance the understanding and inclusion of RL’s offerings in their research and reports.</li> </ul><h3>Requirements</h3>Successful candidates will have the following experience:<ul> <li>15+ years of experience in product marketing and related marketing functions in the cybersecurity industry, preferably within the software supply chain security or threat intelligence space. </li> <li>Combination of public company and VC-backed startup experience is a plus.</li> <li>Track record in building new categories and or pivoting categories.</li> <li>Deep understanding of the security market and competitive landscape.</li> <li>Experience building trusted relationships with executive sponsors and end users.</li> <li>Technical background or clear understanding of a product lifecycle</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing, business, or related area; MBA is a plus. </li> <li>Outstanding written and verbal communications skills to explain and translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications.</li> <li>Strong verbal and communication skills, with the ability to create strong messaging, presentations, and web experiences</li> <li>Significant experience and a proven track record in taking ownership and delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment are required. A can-do attitude and getting things done are a must. </li> <li>Self-motivated</li> <li>Demonstrated experience managing projects across functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations.</li> <li>Experience with analyst relations</li> <li>Uses data to measure results and inform decision making and strategy development.</li> <li>This position will be based in the United States. </li> <li>Ability to travel 30% of the year.</li> </ul><h3>Leadership Capabilities</h3><ul> <li>Communicates and influences - Clearly communicates information and ideas to individuals and teams in an articulate, focused, and compelling way. </li> <li>Willing to offer intellectual mindshare.
