This role is ideal for someone who thrives in solving complex technical challenges, mentoring others, and driving innovation in a collaborative environment.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements</li><li>Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components</li><li>Complete complex bug fixes</li><li>Implement and guide others in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices</li><li>Identify operational requirements for logging, instrumentation, and alerting</li><li>Work closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs</li><li>Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews</li><li>Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders</li><li>Resolve intermediate technical issues as necessary</li><li>Engage in pair programming to support the learning and development of others</li><li>Mentor less senior software developers on development methodologies and optimization techniques</li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>6+ years of Software Engineering experience</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent required</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of continuous software delivery practices</li><li>Intermediate knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)</li><li>Intermediate proficiency with data manipulation languages and optimization techniques</li><li>Intermediate understanding of normalized/dimensional data modeling principles</li><li>Intermediate knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems</li><li>Expertise in NET Core / .NET Framework, C#, SQL, Windows, UNIX, HTML, JavaScript, React</li><li>Proficient research and problem-solving skills</li><li>Developing knowledge of industry best practices in development</li><li>Experience using and developing applicable toolsets</li><li>Ability to interface effectively with internal and external technical teams</li><li>Knowledge of test-driven development</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li></ul>Work in a Way That Works for You:We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
