This is a critical leadership role that requires deep experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams in technical enterprise software, preferably in cloud-native or data infrastructure sectors.</p> <p>As VP of Enterprise Sales, you will be responsible for defining strategy, developing go-to-market execution, driving predictable revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional customer outcomes.</p> <p><strong><em>You Will: </em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and expand Redpanda’s enterprise sales team across regions and verticals<br />Own and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for enterprise accounts</li> <li>Develop and implement scalable sales processes, KPIs, and forecasting methodologies</li> <li>Work closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to align enterprise GTM strategy</li> <li>Cultivate relationships with C-level executives and technical decision-makers at Fortune 1000 companies</li> <li>Establish a metrics-driven sales culture with clear accountability and transparency</li> <li>Drive strategic deals from inception to close, especially in key target verticals like finance, media, and security</li> <li>Hire, mentor, and retain world-class sales talent to support aggressive growth targets</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>You Have: </em></strong></p> <ul> <li>10+ years of enterprise software sales leadership experience, with a track record of exceeding quotas and scaling teams</li> <li>Proven experience selling complex, technical products to enterprise buyers (e.g., CIOs, VPs of Engineering, Architects)</li> <li>Strong analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills</li> <li>Experience in both early-stage startups and scaling post-Series B+ organizations is preferred<br />Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence product roadmap and GTM initiatives</li> <li>Willingness to travel as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Background in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or developer platforms</li> <li>Familiarity with open-source business models and developer-first sales motions</li> <li>Experience expanding into international markets</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><em>U.S. base salary range for this role is $200,000, not including bonus and/or commission. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
