Director of Carrier Strategy | Coverage

*This role can be filled in our Charlotte, NC area HQ on a hybrid schedule or fully remotely.  If filled remotely, 1x month travel to our HQ is required.

Red Ventures is seeking a Director of Carrier Strategy to lead the Coverage Insurance Agency. In this role, you will work with the Red Ventures insurance leadership team to influence the overall insurance sales strategy, and will have direct responsibility for carrier management and agency operations.

What Youll Do: 

• Lead the overall agency sales strategy, focusing on setting Coverage’s experience apart from our competitors while ensuring that we meet all regulatory and carrier requirements.
• Oversee the carrier strategies, including carrier, product and state expansions.
• Support, collaborate, and give feedback to help build the digital agency product experience.
• Lead the agency staffing strategy and execution in partnership with sales leadership. Manage the sales leadership, compliance and workforce functions.
• Support Insurance Operations and Partnerships to develop reporting and processes to support the Insurance Team.
• Support, collaborate, and give feedback to help build the digital agency product experience. 
• Manage agency technology, including telephony, CRM and rating tools.
• Foster and maintain a performance driven sales culture by creating and securing reporting needed to track and monitor progress and clearly communicate results and plans to drive results to leadership team and agents. 
• Create agency sales performance goals and efficiency targets for the team that align to the business goals and financial targets.
• Lead agent compensation strategy, including incentives that promote agency goals.
• Develop and continually drive project work plans, timelines and budgets.
• Create, cultivate, and nurture a dynamic team culture rooted in collectively winning together, constantly getting better every day, celebrating wins, and having fun together.

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in a personal lines P&C agency environment 
• Property & Casualty licensed preferred
• In-depth knowledge of P&C carriers, especially those distributing in the independent agent channel
• Ability to travel to Red Ventures HQ in Fort Mill, SC a minimum of once per month and as needed to conferences and carrier meetings.
• Experience with in-depth analytics and problem solving, the ability to think strategically while being detail and execution-oriented
• Eagerness to break records, create opportunities, and test new initiatives; we love a competitive and innovative spirit.
• Comfort in a fast-paced and often changing environment, with an inclination to solve new problems and learn new skills in order to succeed. Demonstrated success managing competing priorities.

Compensation:

• USA Compensation Range: $130,000 - $175,000*
• *Note actual compensation is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience. 
• Enrollment in Red Ventures Long Term Incentive Plan (Equity).
