Bankrate’s Consumer Lending team is seeking a data-driven Senior Analyst to help shape the future of the digital lending experience. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with stakeholders in Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Design to enhance the customer journey and optimize key touchpoints across Bankrate’s high-traffic consumer lending pages.

You’ll use data to identify pain points and opportunities across the user funnel—from intent to conversion—and play a lead role in designing and evaluating experiments, uncovering actionable insights, and driving strategic recommendations. Your insights will directly shape the user journey, strengthen site performance, and contribute to the growth and success of Bankrate’s consumer lending platform.

What Youll Do:

  • Analyze Consumer Behavior: Use data to understand how users interact with Bankrate’s consumer lending content and tools, identifying friction points and drop-offs in the journey,
  • Optimize Experiences: Partner with Product, Creative, and Engineering to improve site experiences and test new features focused on user engagement, lead quality, and conversion.
  • Lead Experiments: Design and execute robust A/B tests across the lending experience, ensuring statistical rigor and clear reporting of performance metrics.
  • Drive Strategy: Translate complex data into clear business insights, helping prioritize roadmaps, guide lending partner strategies, and influence team OKRs.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Serve as a bridge between Marketing, Content, Product, and Business Development teams to align on goals and make data-informed decisions.
  • Provide direct management to analysts, helping develop their skills, guide priorities, and foster growth.

What Were Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital analytics, product strategy, or customer experience optimization (ideally in fintech, media, or e-commerce).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets in Redshift, BigQuery, or similar environments.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Mode.
  • Deep understanding of experimentation principles and statistical significance.
  • Proven ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights that influence decision-making.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills; able to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, iterative environment with evolving priorities.
  • Passion for consumer finance, lending products, or helping users make smarter financial decisions.

Compensation:

  • Cash Compensation Range: $100,000 - $140,000
