About the job:

Red Hat is seeking a strategic, results-driven Principal Program Marketing Manager to lead global marketing. . In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and scaling marketing programs that accelerate demand, drive partner enablement, and amplify Red Hat’s presence through our global distributors. You will work closely with regional marketing teams, sales, alliances, and our key distribution partners to shape and execute high-impact, partner-led go-to-market strategies.

What you will do:

  • Drive engagement and support for two critical areas: our distribution ecosystem and our cloud partner business, with a specific focus on Oracle Cloud. This role is essential to drive the targeted marketing programs necessary for growth and success in these key channels.

  • You will work closely with regional marketing teams, sales, alliances, and our key distribution partners to shape and execute high-impact, partner-led go-to-market strategies.

  • You will lead global marketing initiatives across our distribution partner ecosystem. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and scaling marketing programs that accelerate demand, drive partner enablement, and amplify Red Hat’s presence through our global distributors. 

  • Develop and execute global marketing programs for distribution partners that support awareness, enablement, and pipeline growth

  • Lead strategic planning for quarterly and annual marketing initiatives aligned to Red Hat’s global and regional priorities

  • Partner with regional marketing leads to ensure alignment, consistency, and execution across geographies

  • Serve as the global marketing point of contact for key distribution partners, working closely with alliance managers to understand business objectives and co-create go-to-market plans

  • Oversee through-partner demand generation and enablement campaigns, supporting self-service and scaled execution models

  • Collaborate with product marketing, digital marketing, and field teams to support content development, messaging alignment, and campaign amplifications

  • Track program performance, measure ROI, and optimize campaigns based on data insights and partner feedback

  • Support MDF planning, approvals, and reporting to ensure strong governance and impact tracking

  • Drive internal collaboration across Red Hat’s cloud, commercial, ISV, and regional partner marketing teams to bring unified, scalable approaches to the distribution channel - collaboration with Red Hats commercial marketing team will also be key for success. 

  • In addition to working with global distribution partners, also manage the marketing relationship with Oracle Cloud, ensuring alignment and execution of joint go-to-market strategies.

What you will bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, or ecosystem marketing within a B2B technology environment.

  • Deep understanding of how software vendors go to market through distribution and reseller ecosystems

  • Proven track record of developing and executing global partner marketing programs with measurable business impact

  • Strategic thinker who can translate high-level goals into scalable, repeatable marketing programs

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills—able to influence across marketing, sales, alliances, and external partners

  • Experience working with or within global teams, with an appreciation for regional nuances

  • Comfortable with data, reporting tools, and performance metrics to guide decisions

  • Self-starter with strong organizational and project management skills

  • Experience with cloud distribution models and/or working with partners like AWS, Microsoft, or Google is a plus (including AWS’ DSOR program)

The salary range for this position is $120,720.00 - $199,120.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
