The Red Hat Telco Cloud Services team is looking for a highly driven Cloud Architect to join us in North America. In this role, you will work with the customer and End-to-end Telco Solution Architect to define the Cloud architecture based on customer requirements and Telco solution on Red Hat OCP product features.
As a Cloud Architect, you will also need to have excellent communication and people skills because you will be interacting with many different groups and teams on the project.
The position is a remote position in Dallas TX, United of States and you will need to travel to customer locations for meeting if required.
What you will do:
● Collaborate with project and customer team members to meet timelines and goals
● Lead the architecture design activities and sessions, ensuring that various systems and technologies are integrated to meet the end customers requirements
● Collaborate with end-to-end Telco solution architect to define NFVI High Level Design (HLD)
● Create Low Level Design (LLD) document to be used by Cloud associates to implement Red Hat OCP Cloud.
● Work directly and closely with project team to define testing strategy and test cases to get customer acceptance.
● Support associates during the deployment phase for critical issues resolution.
● Mentor and share knowledges with associates
What you will bring:
● 10+ years of professional experiences.
● 5+ years of hands-on experiences in field with Cloud technologies such as Openstack, Kubernetes, VMWare, and Openshift.
● Proficiency in Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures like containers, service mesh, and automation and/or CI/CD lifecycle tools.
● Experience with infrastructure activities like installation, configuration, hardening, and components like networking, security logging/monitoring, and high availability.
● Understanding of virtualization technologies and experience with virtualization technologies like OpenShift Virtualization and/or VMware vSphere technologies.
● Advanced knowledge of Red Hat’s platform solutions including Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat OpenShift AI, and other related technologies.
● Strong Networking knowledge, Security is a plus.
● Ability to multitask, prioritize, work under pressure, and as a team.
● Excellent oral and written communication skills.
● Red Hat EX280 certification a plus
● RHEL certified administrator a plus
The salary range for this position is $116,270.00 - $191,840.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
