Manager, UX Content Design 📍 Boston, MA (Hybrid)Job SummaryWe’re seeking a Manager of UX Content Design to lead a team of multidisciplinary content designers responsible for crafting clear, consistent, and scalable product content across our platform. In this role, you’ll shape the end-to-end content experience for technical and non-technical users, driving alignment with our design system and brand voice.About the TeamThe UX Content Design team partners closely with Product, UX, Engineering, Marketing, and Support to deliver documentation and in-product experiences that drive clarity, reduce friction, and empower customers to navigate our cybersecurity platform with confidence.About the RoleAs the Manager of UX Content Design, your primary responsibility will be to lead and mentor a team of content designers and technical writers focused on creating customer-facing content for product and platform experiences, while also contributing to content work as needed. You’ll report directly to the Senior Manager of Product Design. Specifically, your focus will be to:<ul><li>Prioritize and own execution of content deliverables across multiple roadmaps.</li><li>Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of UX content professionals.</li><li>Drive the execution of the UX content strategy across product lines and platforms.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure content is aligned with product vision, user needs, and business goals.</li><li>Oversee scalable documentation and content governance practices across the product lifecycle.</li><li>Contribute directly to content design and writing deliverables on a limited basis, providing hands-on support where needed to model best practices and help meet team and project needs.</li></ul>Core Skills<ul><li>Consistent advocacy for the importance of clear, impactful content across teams and stakeholders</li><li>Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities</li><li>Strategic thinking with a customer-centric mindset</li><li>Effective cross-functional communication and stakeholder management</li><li>High emotional intelligence and ability to influence across a matrixed organization</li><li>Consistent advocacy for the importance of clear, impactful content across teams and stakeholders</li></ul>Functional / Role-Specific Skills<ul><li>Ability to evaluate and implement AI-powered documentation strategies that enhance content scalability, discoverability, and contextual relevance for diverse user groups</li><li>Familiarity with leveraging generative AI for structured content authoring, inline assistance, and conversational help experiences within product interfaces</li><li>Expertise in technical writing, UX content design, or developer documentation</li><li>Deep understanding of the documentation development lifecycle (DDLC) and Agile methodologies</li><li>Experience managing roadmap-aligned content across complex product portfolios</li><li>Familiarity with content management systems, localization strategy, and structured authoring tools (e.g., MadCap Flare or equivalent)</li><li>Experience developing API documentation and third-party developer enablement content</li><li>Ability to assess content needs based on personas, user journeys, and feedback loops</li><li>Fluency in modern UX copywriting patterns and standards</li><li>Capability to balance long-term vision with short-term delivery across multiple teams</li><li>Strong grasp of tooling and tracking metrics (Jira, Confluence, analytics tools, etc.)</li><li>Technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or GraphQL is a plus</li><li>Comfort switching between strategy and execution, especially in high-impact or fast-paced scenarios requiring team support.</li></ul>Core Value EmbodimentEmbody our core values to foster a culture of excellence that drives meaningful impact and collective success.We know that the best ideas and solutions come from multi-dimensional teams.
