Department Overview

Online and offline, through the Creation of Touch Points, Acquisition of Data and Acquisition of Users. Our mission is to contribute to the expansion of the Rakuten ecosystem and advertising business.

We utilize Rakuten data and various technologies to support advertisers marketing with performance-based advertising.

We implement strategies through various measures such as dynamic media planning and effect analysis utilizing Rakuten Groups wide range of services, and creative improvement proposals such as campaign page, displays, and email ads.

Advertisers can gain substantial industry experience in a wide range of industries such as mail order company, education, and real estate.

- Proposing the optimal advertising plan based on the clients marketing challenges

Work Environment

Team members: 9 (mainly in their late 20s to 30s)

Most of the team members are mid-career hires, and their backgrounds are in media planning and analysis work experience in advertising agencies, media companies, ad operations and corporate marketing departments.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- 3 years or more experience of working people

- Project promotion and progress experience (continue to run PDCA, etc.)

- Advertising knowledge related to internet advertising (media/agent/operation)

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience in operating affiliate programs at an advertising agency (more than 2 years)

- Experience in planning and executing new advertising schemes and plans

- Knowledge about the Web such as HTML

- Experience in creative improvement and ad distribution efficiency improvement

- Sales or operation experience of programmatic ad such as SEO and SEM

- Those who can proceed with work while repeating effect verification and improvement

- Those who can do planning work based on various data

- Experience of sales promotion at point site
