The Global IT Strategy Office is responsible for implementing and managing internal strategic IT solutions that have a global impact on the Rakuten Group, Inc. We provide critical IT services to internal users worldwide, driving efficiency and innovation across the organization.

The Global IT Planning Section plays a central role in supporting internal global strategy and promoting cross-functional collaboration. In a global environment, the team is at the heart of communication, facilitating smooth discussions and operations, and is committed to continuous improvement.

Position Details
The Global IT Planning Section plays a central role in supporting Rakuten Groups internal global IT strategy, promoting cross-functional collaboration, and contributing to continuous improvement.
In this position, you will primarily be responsible for the following tasks:
- Facilitating efficient and smooth communication to enable consensus building and drive collaboration.
- Facilitating discussions at the department and section manager levels, guiding meetings to appropriate conclusions within a limited time frame.
- Proactively addressing necessary areas from a strategic organizational management perspective, contributing to the achievement of organizational goals.
- Actively identifying changes in circumstances and opportunities for improvement within existing processes, and proposing improvement plans.
While there is a possibility of future involvement in team management, this position is currently focused on contributing to the organization as a team member.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Communication skills and experience, over 3 years in an English-speaking business environment
- Experience proactively engaging in organizational and process improvement initiatives.
- Proven facilitation skills and experience leading meetings and discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Project management experience, over 5 years, in the IT industry
- Understanding of stakeholder management and expectation management.
Desired Qualifications:
- Understanding of IT development processes.
- Experience working as a consultant in organizational and process improvement.
- Experience facilitating discussions with department and section manager-level stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders with conflicting interests.
- Strong self-management skills, particularly in prioritizing tasks.

- Values contributing to smooth organizational operations.
- Japanese language proficiency.
Additional information on English Qualification
Advanced Level of English is required.
