The Distribution Account Manager Role
As a Distribution Account Manager (DAM), you will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with key distribution partners to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and partner satisfaction. You will serve as the primary point of contact for distributors, aligning their efforts with company goals and supporting them with training, marketing, and sales enablement.

As a Distribution Account Manager, you will support one of the most important transformations in the channel, working with Distribution to help existing and new partners grow with us.
You will have the opportunity to accompany the introduction of the distribution model in an early stage and contribute your experience in a creative way.
You will be the main point of contact for the Distribution Partner and act as the
liaison with the Qlik sales teams.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:
Partner Relationship and Account Management:
Develop a close relationship with the Distribution Partner and manage day-to-day relationships with assigned distribution partners. Conduct regular business reviews and ensure alignment with sales targets and strategic objectives.
Sales Enablement:
Work closely with distributors to drive sales of products/solutions. Support them with product training, pricing strategies, promotions, and deal registration.
Forecasting & Reporting:
Monitor distributor performance and sales pipelines. Provide accurate forecasts and reports to internal stakeholders.
Go-To-Market Execution:
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to roll out joint campaigns, events, and product launches through distribution channels. Coordinating sales activities with Sales.
Partner Development:
Identify new distribution opportunities and assist in onboarding and developing new partners. Foster loyalty and commitment among distributors.
Conflict Resolution:
Resolve channel conflicts, manage pricing integrity, and support a fair and competitive channel ecosystem.
Compliance & Contracts:
Ensure distributors operate within agreed contractual terms, service levels, and compliance standards.
We’re looking for a teammate with:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in channel sales, distribution management, or partner account management
- Strong knowledge of indirect sales models and partner ecosystems.
- Proven track record of driving revenue through distribution channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset and proficiency with CRM and reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Experience working with international or multi-tier distribution models.
- Knowledge of the local/regional market and competitive landscape.
