Check out what other great jobs Pythian has open around the world! </span><a href="http://www.pythian.com/careers"><b>Pythian Careers</b></a></div><h3>What you will be doing: </h3><ul><li>Strong hands-on experience in handling, troubleshooting network and security-related issues.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of Cisco ASA and FTD platforms, including installation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Evaluate diverse security risks in a fast-moving environment and be technically capable of suggesting and carrying out remediation, in accordance with Ciscos security policies and standards.</li><li>Implement security measures on network infrastructure, such as firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security policies</li><li>Create and implement security policies, access control lists (ACLs), and NAT rules to ensure secure communication across the network.</li><li>Implement and configure VPN technologies, including site-to-site and remote access VPNs, using ASA and FTD.</li><li>Experience with SSL certificate management, including CSR generation, certificate renewal, installation, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve network security issues related to ASA and FTD firewalls.</li><li>Provide support for network security incidents, including malware detection, DDoS attacks, and firewall policy conflicts.</li><li>Expert knowledge of advanced security features such as intrusion prevention, URL filtering, and malware analysis.</li><li>Good to have experience on any “Software Defined Networking” solution, i.e. Cisco/Viptela/Versa SD-WAN</li><li>Configure network policies, application performance optimization, and dynamic path selection using SD-WAN.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SD-WAN, including connectivity, security policies, and application performance.</li><li>Implement security policies and ensure secure communication between SD-WAN sites using Versa’s integrated security features, such as encryption, secure tunnelling, and firewall integration.</li><li>Independently drive P2/P1 Technical calls from the networks end, demonstrating exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to de-escalate situations and provide clear, concise updates to clients.</li><li>Excellent client-facing communication skills and the ability to handle and manage client interactions and escalations independently, ensuring client satisfaction and timely resolution of critical issues.</li><li>Work in a billable environment and achieve those targets associated with your position.</li></ul><h3>What do we need from you?</h3><ul><li>5 - 10 years of experience in implementing and managing multi-vendor network solutions.</li><li>Expert-level experience in Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC) and other Cisco security products.</li><li>Prior experience collaborating with global clients from US, Europe, and APAC regions</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to manage client expectations and handle high-pressure situations effectively.</li><li>Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering effective solutions and managing client escalations efficiently.</li><li>A relevant certification in security is an asset. </li></ul><h3>What do you get in return?</h3><ul><li><b>Love your career</b>: Competitive total rewards and salary package. <a href="https://www.pythian.com/blog">Blog</a> during work hours; take a day off and volunteer for your favorite charity.</li><li><b>Love your work/life balance</b>: Flexibly work remotely from your home, there’s no daily travel requirement to an office!
