Check out what other great jobs Pythian has open around the world! </span><a href="http://www.pythian.com/careers"><b>Pythian Careers</b></a></div><h3>What you will be doing: </h3><ul><li>Administration and management of complex networking solutions in enterprise data centers and remote offices across the globe. </li><li>Extensive working experience on Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, along with Cisco ISR Routers.</li><li>Expert knowledge of ARP, MAC Address Table, VLAN, Spanning Tree Protocol, Ether channel, Switch Stacking, HSRP/VRRP, Access Lists (ACL), and NAT.</li><li>Hands-on experience in Enterprise LAN and WAN configuration and troubleshooting.</li><li>Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN technologies (IPSec, GRE), and routing/switching principles.</li><li>Hands-on experience in implementing security measures like access control lists (ACLs) and firewall policies to protect the network</li><li>Must have experience in enterprise network operation in handling escalation and severity cases.</li><li>Coordination with ISP, clients and onsite technical teams for troubleshooting network and security incidents. </li><li>Providing permanent remediation for affected endpoints in our network environment</li><li>Documenting network issues related to Incidents with in-depth event logs, RCA, and evidence</li><li>IOS/firmware upgrade in Cisco network devices as and when required</li><li>Good to have experience on configuring and troubleshooting CISCO wireless controllers, Aerohive Products.</li><li>Independently drive P2/P1 Technical calls from the networks end, demonstrating exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to de-escalate situations and provide clear, concise updates to clients.</li><li>Excellent client-facing communication skills and the ability to handle and manage client interactions and escalations independently, ensuring client satisfaction and timely resolution of critical issues.</li><li>Work in a billable environment and achieve those targets associated with your position.</li></ul><h3>What do we need from you?</h3><ul><li>5 - 10 years of experience in implementing and managing multi-vendor network solutions.</li><li>Expert-level experience in Routing and Switching.</li><li>Prior experience collaborating with global clients from the US, Europe, and APAC regions</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to manage client expectations and handle high-pressure situations effectively.</li><li>Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering effective solutions and managing client escalations efficiently.</li><li>CCNA or CCNP Certifications are an asset</li></ul><h3>What do you get in return?</h3><ul><li><b>Love your career</b>: Competitive total rewards and salary package. <a href="https://www.pythian.com/blog">Blog</a> during work hours; take a day off and volunteer for your favorite charity.</li><li><b>Love your work/life balance</b>: Flexibly work remotely from your home, there’s no daily travel requirement to an office!
