Pure Storage is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Product Marketing Manager to focus on the Public Sector market. In this exciting and pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping how we engage with and serve government agencies - including state and local, educational institutions, and public safety organizations. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies, crafting compelling messaging that resonates with public sector audiences, and enabling our sales teams to effectively address the unique challenges and opportunities within this critical segment. WHAT YOULL DO <ul> <li>Market Leadership &amp; Strategy: Define and articulate the Pure Storage value proposition for the Public Sector. Conduct in-depth market research to identify key trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes specific to government, education, and public safety. Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including target audience segmentation, messaging, and sales enablement plans tailored for the Public Sector.</li> <li>Compelling Content Creation: Craft engaging and persuasive content, including solution briefs, whitepapers, presentations, website copy, sales playbooks, and case studies, showcasing how Pure Storage addresses the unique challenges and mandates of Public Sector organizations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling Public Sector-specific demos and solution architectures.</li> <li>Sales Enablement &amp; Empowerment: Equip our Public Sector sales teams with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to confidently position Pure Storage solutions. Deliver impactful training sessions, develop sales collateral, and act as a subject matter expert for Public Sector opportunities.</li> <li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with our Public Sector team to capture business priorities based on sector requirements and feedback. Work hand-in-hand with Growth Marketing to execute integrated campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives targeting the Public Sector. Collaborate with our Public Sector sales leadership to identify and pursue key opportunities.</li> <li>Thought Leadership &amp; Advocacy: Represent Pure Storage at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements focused on the Public Sector. Evangelize Pures solutions, share customer success stories, and contribute to Pures reputation as a trusted partner in the Public Sector.</li> <li>Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and analyze competitive activities within the Public Sector, developing strategies to differentiate Pure Storage and maintain our market leadership.</li> </ul> WHAT YOU BRING <ul> <li>7+ years of product marketing experience, with a strong focus on enterprise software or hardware solutions. Storage experience is a big plus.</li> <li>Proven experience in the Public Sector market (Federal, State &amp; Local, Education), understanding its unique procurement processes, regulatory environments, and solution requirements.</li> <li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to create compelling and concise messaging for diverse audiences.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies and compelling narratives.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.</li> <li>A collaborative spirit and proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product management, and corporate marketing teams.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.</li> </ul> #LI-REMOTE<div><div><div>  Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location.
