We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer (Contract) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our digital products, through rigorous testing and a deep understanding of functionality and user experience.<ul><li>3 month contract, view to extend further</li><li>Remote Working (Hungary Essential)</li><li>80,000 to 120,000 HUF Per Day</li></ul><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Test Case Creation: Develop and create comprehensive test cases to ensure thorough coverage of our products.</li><li>Manual &amp; Exploratory Testing: Perform manual or exploratory testing to identify defects and ensure complete test coverage.</li><li>Defect Documentation: Document defects, collaborate with development teams for resolutions, and advocate for continuous product improvement.</li><li>Requirements Validation: Validate and scrutinize requirements, identifying potential gaps, edge cases, and ensuring testability of proposed solutions.</li><li>CMS Experience: Work with or leverage your previous experience in Content Management Systems (CMS).</li><li>Test Documentation: Create supporting documentation for projects, such as Test Plans and Test Summary Reports, with support from other team members.</li><li>Project Planning: Contribute to the planning and prioritization of testing efforts for the project.</li><li>Task Estimation: Provide accurate estimations for testing tasks within a project.</li><li>Risk Assessment: Proactively assess risks and suggest ways to mitigate issues.</li><li>Process Ownership: Own and uphold QA processes and best practices across the team.</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3>Expert Knowledge In:<ul><li>Quickly understanding digital products, their features, and functionality.</li><li>Developing and executing test scenarios for web or mobile applications.</li><li>Analysing and understanding requirements to ensure quality assurance.</li><li>Diagnosing, reporting, and tracking defects.</li><li>Maintaining knowledge of core systems and processes.</li><li>Applying industry-standard testing processes and best practices, with an ISTQB foundation certification.</li></ul>Competency In:<ul><li>Software testing techniques and test-support tools, as well as incident/defect tracking systems.</li><li>Experience in mobile app testing software such as Appium</li><li>Familiarity with Agile / Waterfall development methodologies.</li><li>Understanding APIs, with experience using tools such as Charles Proxy and Postman.</li><li>Experience with UI automated testing tools (e.g., Cypress).</li><li>Proficiency in tools like JIRA / Confluence.</li></ul>If you are passionate about ensuring high-quality digital experiences and have the expertise and drive to contribute to a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you!Apply now to be part of a cutting-edge team committed to delivering exceptional products.
