How We Work: At Proofpoint, you’ll be part of a global team that breaks barriers to redefine cybersecurity, guided by our BRAVE core values: Bold in how we dream and innovate, Responsive to feedback, challenges, and opportunities, Accountable for results and best-in-class outcomes, Visionary in future-focused problem-solving, Exceptional in execution and impact.The Role and the TeamExperienced Sr. Sales Enterprise Account Manager to join our growing Latin America sales team in Brazil.This is a remote role, preferably based in Sao Paulo, but requires face to face interaction with customers and prospects.As we are in a high-growth phase, this position is primarily new business-focused.Must speak Brazilian Portuguese and fluent English.You will be joining a rapidly growing and successful team.Overview Of Role<ul><li>Actively engage with prospective new customers both face to face and remotely to introduce Proofpoint products and our value proposition.</li><li>Consistently research and proactively prospect within your assigned territory to identify potential new Proofpoint customers.</li><li>Actively manage any existing customers within territory to maintain and grow their Proofpoint investment.</li><li>Drive the entire sales process from start to finish including prospecting, opportunity identification, introductory meetings, product demonstration, customer Q&amp;A, as well as negotiation and closing.</li><li>Team up with our rapidly expanding channel partner network to drive both net-new and incremental revenue.</li><li>Interact with the management team in 1-1, team meetings and via forecasting and reporting to provide critical updates, and strategic account planning.</li><li>Fulfill internal obligations such as training and exams to ensure success in the field.</li><li>May require modified work hours to cover accounts in other time zones, and occasional travel for key accounts.</li></ul>Job Requirements<ul><li>Must speak fluent English and Brazilian Portuguese.</li><li>15+ years of experience selling cyber-security solutions in the Brazil market is strongly preferred.</li><li>Relationships with senior cybersecurity executives (e.g. CISOs) will be viewed favorably.</li><li>Strong grasp of value selling methodology in order to sell a premium product.</li><li>Experience selling through channel partners.</li><li>Track record of sustained success/over-achievement in a sales role.</li><li>Experience managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through negotiation and closing.</li><li>Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) as well as organizational skills.</li><li>Great attitude, and a team player that will share their recipe(s) for success.</li><li>Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM is a plus.</li><li>Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required.</li></ul>#LI-RP1Why Proofpoint?
