What you’ll do: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our remote engineering teams across multiple time zones. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and a passion for developing and mentoring engineers. As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in the strategic direction and execution of projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet our business goals. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead and manage high-performing teams of backend, frontend, and full-stack engineers, including offshore contractors, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.</li> <li>Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, helping them grow both technically and professionally.</li> <li>Ensure that the team delivers high-quality software solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.</li> <li>Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.</li> <li>Work closely with product managers to define project requirements and priorities.</li> <li>Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project delivery.</li> <li>Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.</li> <li>Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring that best practices are followed.</li> <li>Stay current with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and processes.</li> <li>Collaborate with other teams to drive technical innovation and excellence across the organization.</li> </ul> What we’ll expect you to have on day one: <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.</li> <li>Technical Skills: Extensive experience with programming languages such as Go, Ruby, Java, or JavaScript (for frontend engineers), and modern development practices.
