Ready to reimagine the DFS industry together? </div>The PrizePicks Analytics Team is responsible for building and maintaining analytical tools and products to support the PrizePicks business across all departments - at the core of these operations is data.  As Manager, Marketing Data Science, you will lead the team that advances the Marketing team’s capabilities, driving initiatives around machine learning model development &amp; causal inference to enable better decision making. <h1>What you’ll do:</h1> <ul> <li>Lead a team of data scientists, covering topics across retention and acquisition marketing</li> <li>Oversee the development &amp; maintenance of production-grade machine learning models, across topics such as customer lifetime value, customer segmentation, media mix modeling, and attribution</li> <li>Manage projects centered around marketing data analysis, including leveraging causal inference frameworks, to assess the impact of efforts and drive outcomes</li> <li>Mentor junior team members, enhancing analytical rigor throughout the PrizePicks Analytics Team</li> <li>Effectively manage projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met</li> <li>Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing data science efforts with the overall company &amp; marketing goals</li> </ul> <h1>What you have:</h1> <ul> <li>Proven experience (3+ years) in a people leadership role, managing and growing a team of data scientists in a marketing science / econometrics function</li> <li>Bachelors or masters degree in data science, econometrics, statistics, math, computer science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred</li> <li>Proven experience in building machine learning models, and in performing data analysis and statistical modeling, with a focus on predictive behavioral data (CLV, Churn, Personalization, Segmentation)</li> <li>Proven experience leveraging causal inference frameworks (e.g. difference-in-differences, regression discontinuity, synthetic controls) to assess impact and drive business outcomes</li> <li>Proficiency in statistics, and ability to use programming languages (i.e. Python, R) for statistical computing, model development, and data visualization</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of SQL</li> <li>Strong communication skills, both written and oral</li> <li>Outstanding analytical problem solving capabilities</li> <li>Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale data science projects on time and within budget </li> </ul> <h1>Where you’ll live:</h1> <ul> <li>While we prefer candidates based in Atlanta, we are open to qualified applicants from anywhere in the U.S. and are willing to consider remote candidates. #LI-Remote </li> </ul> <h1>Working at PrizePicks:</h1> The typical salary range for this position is $165,000 to $205,000. At PrizePicks, we consider your role, level, and where youll be working when determining our salary ranges.
