Were looking for a Senior Software Engineer with full-stack capabilities with a strong front-end focus to help us scale and evolve the reporting platform. You will work across our product surface area - shipping polished UI, collaborating on architectural decisions, and contributing to the overall product direction. Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, build, and maintain key features across the application - front end heavy but with opportunities to go full stack
  • Help scale our front-end architecture and establish reusable component patterns
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor other engineers, and help evolve our engineering best practices
  • Take ownership of projects from idea through deployment, monitoring, and iteration
  • Contribute to front-end performance, accessibility, and reliability
  • Partner with product, design, and engineering to translate complex workflows into intuitive UIs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience
  • Experience in React, TypeScript / Node.js and Postgres
  • Deep experience building complex web applications and crafting pixel-perfect, performant front end experiences
  • Solid understanding of front-end architecture, state management and design systems
  • Comfortable working across the stack, with experience in back-end services and databases
  • Experience in a start up environment
  • Strong product intuition-you care about user experience and business outcomes
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; you thrive in cross-functional teams
  • Bonus points for: experience with design systems or component libraries at scale, experience in Atomic Design, familiarity with data-heavy or workflow-driven enterprise applications

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD  [$130,000.00] to [$179,000.00] per year. PlexTrac utilizes different base pay ranges for different work localities, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently based on their home market. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the specific applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s work location. In addition to a candidate’s work location, an individual’s base pay will also depend on a number of factors, such as complexity and responsibility of the posted role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
