As Team Lead Sales for Austria, you will take full entrepreneurial ownership of building our presence in the Austrian market. You’ll wear multiple hats – strategist, executor, and coach – as you scale a proven sales engine into a new territory. From assembling and leading a local sales team to fine-tuning our sales strategy for Austria’s unique market needs, you’ll play a critical role in driving growth and impact.

Working closely with our Marketing, Revenue Operations, and the Sales team in Germany, you’ll bridge hands-on sales execution with inspiring leadership, ensuring our go-to-market strategy is both cohesive and locally relevant.

You’ll be laying the foundation for our expansion in Austria, with the chance to grow the regional sales organization and evolve your role as we scale. With each milestone, your scope of influence and responsibility will grow accordingly.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team for the Austrian market (currently 3 FTEs, with plans to grow).

  • Take full ownership of your team’s success, with a strong focus on achieving MRR/ARR targets.

  • Adapt and localize our existing sales playbooks for the Austrian market, continuously test and iterate, and document key learnings.

  • Manage your team through KPIs, develop reliable forecasts, and use dashboards to drive performance – enabling smart, data-driven decision-making.

  • Report to the Head of Sales and collaborate closely with other Go-to-Market leaders, bringing valuable customer insights into product and strategy development. Youll also co-develop our broader sales strategy alongside our Head of Sales.

  • Be a hands-on coach in the day-to-day, setting clear enablement standards and fostering a culture of ownership, excellence, and continuous development within your team.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Deep expertise in sales methodologies such as SPIN, BANT, or MEDDIC – and you know exactly when to apply which approach for maximum impact.
  • A proven success record in sales, underpinned by strong goal orientation and execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Austrian market and a solid understanding of Go-to-Market motions and customer behavior.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, sales KPIs, and interpreting data to steer performance.
  • Initial leadership and coaching experience in sales teams, with a desire to further grow your management skills.
  • Ability to maintain discipline, motivation, and focus in a remote work environment – both for yourself and your team.
  • A hands-on, ownership-driven mindset, ideally shaped by experience in a startup or scale-up setting.
  • Native-level German and fluency in English for daily business communication.
  • Willingness to work fully remote, with quarterly on-site collaboration weeks at our Hamburg HQ alongside your team
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with the craftsman (Handwerk) sector or similar customer groups.
  • Experience launching a new market or regional hub from scratch.
  • A curious, tech-savvy mindset and openness to experimenting with new sales tactics.
