As a Founders Associate, you’ll act as Julian’s right hand — combining analytical depth with hands-on execution.This role offers high exposure to strategic decision-making and ownership of projects that directly impact the future of Plancraft. You will collaborate closely with leadership and play a key role in scaling our operations across Europe. Your Responsibilities <ul><li>Drive strategic growth &amp; expansion: Support our Expansion Team regarding internationalisation and market entry initiatives, from market research to operational roll-out, ensuring successful scaling across Europe.</li><li>Enable operational excellence: Build and optimise scalable processes, implement tools, and introduce workflows that strengthen decision-making and cross-team efficiency.</li><li>Own KPI &amp; reporting structures: Maintain dashboards, track company performance, and prepare updates for internal leadership and external investors.</li><li>Support investor relations: Prepare board materials, ensure transparent communication, and strengthen relationships with investors.</li><li>Foster collaboration with StratOps &amp; Leadership: Ensure company-wide alignment on priorities and progress on mission-critical topics.</li><li>Conduct strategic research &amp; analysis: Provide insights on markets, competitors, and opportunities to guide CEO and leadership decisions.</li><li>Contribute to communication &amp; thought leadership: Prepare presentations and materials for internal and external stakeholders, also supporting Julian’s external presence.</li></ul>Must-haves <ul><li>Degree in business, economics, or related field.</li><li>Experience in a VC or VC-backed startup.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication.</li><li>Structured, proactive, and adaptable working style in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Fluency in English (C1/C2).</li><li>Ideally located in Hamburg or willing to be in our office on a weekly basis.</li></ul> Nice-to-haves <ul><li>Experience in SaaS scale-ups.</li><li>Knowledge of KPI tracking, reporting, and financial planning.</li><li>Exposure to international expansion or market entry projects.</li><li>Practical connection to contractors/tradespeople (internships, projects, personal background).</li><li>Curiosity for AI and how it shapes the future of work.</li></ul><ul><li>Team Spirit: We’re driven by passion, commitment, and a shared mission.
