It’s Possible.</p></div><p>The Content Understanding Signals team at Pinterest is seeking a Staff Product Manager to define, execute, and champion the multi-year strategy for building advanced content understanding signals. You will lead product innovation at the intersection of machine learning and user experience—developing the core relevance and quality signals that drive personalization, discovery, shopping, and business outcomes across Pinterest. Join the team powering the intelligence behind every experience on Pinterest, enabling millions to turn inspiration into action.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Developing, aligning the organization around, and driving the strategy and roadmap for Content Understanding Signals, ensuring the roadmap is ambitious, principled, and closely aligned with company priorities.</li> <li>Lead cross-functional development of engagement, contextual, and relevance signal products that serve a diverse range of business and user needs—including Shopping, Search, Growth, and Ads.</li> <li>Build, launch, and scale features that deepen Pinterest’s understanding of semantic meaning, relationships, and trends across all global content. Nurture a culture of transparency, data-driven decision-making, and continuous learning within the team.</li> <li>Build strong partnerships with engineering, data science, and multiple product groups to translate vision to metrics, OKRs, and product deliverables. Represent the Content Understanding team in org-level forums, proactively communicating progress, strategy, and tradeoffs to senior leadership and partner teams.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What we’re looking for:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated success in product management or related experience at fast-growing companies.</li> <li>Previous successful experience partnering with machine learning engineering teams.</li> <li>Experience working with recommendations or understanding teams is a plus.</li> <li>Proven ability to lead in ambiguous environments, aligning across functions, teams, and orgs to deliver on time in a highly collaborative environment.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills to define product strategy and drive decision making, making appropriate trade-offs based on data analysis and qualitative feedback from Pinners.</li> <li>Exceptional communicator who builds deep alignment across engineering, product, and business partners—skilled in influencing at all levels and facilitating decision-making across organizations.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Relocation Statement:</strong></p> <ul> <li>This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
