Job Description

In late January, we announced that Bridgefield Capital signed an agreement to acquire Philips’ Emergency Care business which includes leading brands and products like HeartStart AEDs, Intrepid and DFM100 monitor defibrillators, Tempus monitor and Tempus ALS systems, and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions. We expect the transaction to close at the end of 2025.

With Bridgefield’s support and building on our 40+ year legacy of growth and innovation in emergency medical technology, the Emergency Care business will continue passionately pursuing our mission of saving lives, lowering the cost of healthcare, and advancing the science of resuscitation while serving the public access AED, EMS, military, and hospital market segments.

You will be supporting the NewCo Americas AED & Monitor/Defibrillator teams

commercial activities, helping to strengthen customer satisfaction and relationships by

interfacing with field teams and customers. Interfaces with marketing, product management and other internal teams to communicate VOC and competitive intelligence to inform product

and commercial strategy.

As a key member of the Global Emergency Care (EC) Team, the Business IT Data Architect will serve as the end-to-end data analytics owner—blending responsibilities across architecture design, data infrastructure engineering, tool development and tool performance optimization. This role requires strategic oversight, hands-on engineering of data pipelines and systems, and software development to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions for internal stakeholders.

Your Role:

  • Own the end-to-end architecture and delivery of internal business data tools and analytics solutions.
  • Design scalable, secure data models and integrations across domains like finance, portfolio, and resource management.
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, APIs, and ETL processes using both cloud and on-premise technologies.
  • Ensure high data quality, security, and performance across reporting systems through governance and optimization.
  • Build backend services, real-time dashboards, and business-specific software tools to support analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT solutions with business goals and enhance the user experience.
  • Lead automation of manual reporting workflows and support end-user training, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Youre the Right Fit If:

  • Have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8+ years’ experience in data architecture, engineering, and application development in complex environments.
  • Are skilled in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, and backend web development.
  • Understand front-end development and can create user-friendly, intuitive tools and interfaces.
  • Are highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams, including senior stakeholders.
  • Excel in cross-functional, global teams and are detail-oriented with strong documentation and quality standards.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in AZ, AR, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, NE, NM, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, or WV is $71,250 to $114,000.

The pay range for this position in AL, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WI, or WY is $75,000 to $120,000.

The pay range for this position in AK, DE, MD, NY, RI, or WA is $78,750 to 126,000.

The pay range for this position in CA, CT, DC, MA, or NJ is $84,000 to 134,400.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
