ROLE SUMMARYReporting to the Vice President of Strategy &amp; Consulting for Global Commercial Platforms, this position is accountable for collaborating with leaders across the three Global Commercial Platform functions—Marketing (CMO), Medical Affairs (CMAO), and Global Access &amp; Value (GAV)—to address critical business challenges and opportunities. The role supports the identification and definition of key priorities that align with Pfizer’s commercial objectives in the short, medium, and long term.  The commercial platforms facilitate and execute brand and market-level strategies for all commercial operations both in the United States and internationally, spanning all Therapeutic Areas. This position will contribute to shaping, developing, and implementing strategies across these platforms in alignment with Pfizer’s growth ambitions. These strategic initiatives encompass priority brands and markets and include a broad portfolio of in-line and pipeline assets designed to meet global patient needs.  The role has four main accountabilities:<ul><li>Developing the commercial platforms strategic plan and roadmap</li><li>Leading a portfolio of strategy projects related to key issues, business priorities and product needs</li><li>Providing insights into market and competitive dynamics that could impact business performance or strategic direction</li><li>Managing and coaching 2-3 direct reports (Senior Manager/Manager/Senior Analyst level).  </li></ul>ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Partner with the CMO, CMAO, GAV teams, and relevant corporate functions to develop strategies across the global commercial platforms</li><li>Develop external relationships that provide outside-in perspectives on key aspects of the remit, scope and priorities of the Marketing, Medical and Access platforms.</li><li>Enable an industry leading integrated marketing model, accelerate brand performance, and enhance marketing effectiveness across the marketing funnel.</li><li>Contribute to development and execution of short and long-term US medical strategies. Help develop and maximize medical capabilities to drive execution excellence.</li><li>Leverage understanding of US/International Payer landscape and healthcare systems to help develop access strategies and solutions.</li><li>Lead and actively participate in a portfolio of strategic projects that provide insight and direction on key.</li><li>levers including market development, life cycle management excellence (Launch to LOE), market sizing and assessment, competitive readiness, market/product prioritization, and go-to-market models.</li><li>Actively analyze and translate impact of these levers into appropriate financial measures (e.g., revenue growth, margin, ROI, etc.).</li><li>Actively participate in growing the Strategy &amp; Consulting team, supporting Pfizer strategy through the perspective and experience of the organizations you support.</li><li>Lead and manage a team of 2-3 colleagues who provide support across all S&amp;C verticals, coaching and developing them to build capabilities and deliver exceptional performance.</li><li>Direct and provide day-to-day oversight to project teams of colleagues with varying levels of experience.</li><li>Create an engaging and productive work environment where team members are encouraged to collaborate and excel.  </li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS <ul><li>Minimum 12+ years of relevant healthcare experience required relevant healthcare experience; relevant experience includes working in or with commercial functions involving strategy development and/or strategic initiatives (e.g., marketing, medical affairs, commercial development, market access &amp; pricing, etc.).</li><li>Advanced degree in related field preferred.</li><li>5+ years of biopharmaceutical consulting experience strongly preferred.</li><li>Prior experience of working within and knowledge of Marketing (CMO), Medical Affairs (CMAO), and/or Market Access (GAV) is strongly preferred.</li><li>Understands trends, value drivers and market dynamics in US and Global healthcare and biopharmaceuticals, aware of competitor strategies, and understands the drug development and commercialization process.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization without direct authority (Category Presidents, functional leaders, and Business Unit counterparts).</li><li>Displayed strategic thinking by asking relevant questions, defining the problem statement, formulating hypotheses, identifying alternative scenarios, outlining implications, and developing recommendations for decisions or actions.</li><li>Ability to understand and translate market and competitive dynamics into strategic implications for platforms and BUs.</li><li>Demonstrated project leadership, managing complex workstreams and large teams of cross-functional colleagues with varying backgrounds and skillsets.</li><li>Demonstrated ability and experience in overseeing the day-to-day work of junior resources, including providing coaching, mentorship, and development.</li><li>Basic understanding of finance and P&amp;L implications of strategies.</li><li>Ability to work with complex information and distill into a framework that helps facilitate decision making.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and lead with indirect authority.</li><li>Excellent presentation skills sufficient to address Platform and Executive Leadership teams and external audiences.</li><li>Strong command of English language, spoken and written</li><li>Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.</li></ul>ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONRelocation support available: Yes.
