We have an incredible portfolio of customers, with new ones recognizing the value of our solutions and joining the PerfectServe family every day. </div>The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Apply customer payments (across 3 companies and several bank accounts  including ACH, Wire, Lockbox Deposits, and CC payments)</li> <li>Research unidentified receipts / payment errors  </li> <li>Enter Journal entries into Microsoft Great plains (GP) (Copy &amp; Paste from excel templates)  .</li> <li>Help run reports out of GP, Access etc. on an adhoc and monthly basis.</li> <li>Researching Credits on AR aging  </li> <li>Manage the escheat process   </li> <li>Work with Collections team on Customer payment related issues as needed.   </li> <li>Strong attention to detail  </li> <li>GP experience preferred but not required  </li> <li>Computer skills, including Microsoft Suite (in particular Excel), and ability to quickly pick up on role-relevant computer applications</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.</li> <li>1+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – it’s a Must Have, Word).</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.</li> </ul> Experience with Microsoft GP or NetSuite – Preferred but not required Why Join PerfectServe?
