Position Summary:
The Vice President, Security Strategy will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and socializing Pax8s cohesive security perspective. This role addresses the need for a single point of truth within the organization to ensure consistent and aligned communication about security across all channels, to both internal and external stakeholders. The VP will synthesize the perspectives of security subject matter experts (SMEs) throughout the company and turn them into a unified narrative that will be delivered uniformly to partners and vendors, as well as our sales and marketing teams. They will work closely with the owners of various communication channels to ensure that the authoritative security perspective is accurately reflected and disseminated.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a cohesive security narrative that aligns with Pax8s goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with security SMEs to synthesize their perspectives into a unified security strategy.
- Ensure the security perspective is integrated into the content of the Guided Growth training program for partner enablement.
- Align vendor line card decisions with Pax8s security perspective to ensure marketplace consistency.
- Enable the sales team to understand and communicate Pax8s security strategy effectively to partners.
- Oversee the integration of the security perspective into marketing communications, conferences, podcasts, blogs, and other public-facing venues.
- Monitor and analyze security trends to ensure Pax8’s strategy stays industry leading.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of security initiatives.
- Share Pax8’s security strategy at conferences and other industry events.
Ideal Skills, Experience and Competencies:
- Extensive experience in security management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of security technologies and best practices.
- Knowledge of IT MSPs and/or the Channel required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presenting to large groups at industry events.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective security strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $210,000/yr to $260,000/yr or more depending on experience.
