Our team seeks to work at multiple points to accelerate the flywheel between members as they discover, engage, convert to membership and evangelize. We leverage tools to enhance the likelihood of conversion by building delightful, retentive experiences at key points of leverage.About the Role<ul><li>Lead Android development of products that maximize fan value for of Patreon users, making them more likely to convert and retain</li><li>Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to design, build, and iterate on monetization features.</li><li>Contribute to patterns and practices that optimize for reliability and developer velocity</li><li>Work with a fully cross functional team to define and deliver new product features</li><li>Build a strong product-minded engineering culture by mentoring and guiding engineers</li></ul>About You<ul><li>5+ years of experience in mobile software development</li><li>Hold a high standard of quality and craft with an eye for excellent UX, engineering detail and high performance mobile products</li><li>Comfortable with project leadership, including scoping, architecture and modeling, process refinement and delegation of responsibilities</li><li>In-depth knowledge of Kotlin</li><li>Strong working knowledge of modern web technologies, specifically REST</li><li>Preference for practicality over dogmatism</li><li>Penchant for solving complex requirements with elegant and simple solutions</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent</li></ul>About PatreonPatreon powers creators to do what they love and get paid by the people who love what they do.
