The opportunity: We’re looking for an experienced IT contractor to support our team on a fractional basis. This is a medium-term engagement best suited for someone who consults with multiple companies and is available to support Parsley on an ongoing basis. This role is a great fit for someone who intentionally chooses contract work as their primary focus. To ensure continuity, were looking for someone who is not actively seeking full-time employment elsewhere and can partner with us reliably over the medium term. The time commitment will vary depending on need, likely between 5 and 15 hours per week. You’ll help resolve escalated IT issues, update and manage device systems, and occasionally support in-person tech needs at our NYC office. What youll do: <ul> <li>Respond to escalated IT support requests and service tickets </li> <li>Support onboarding and offboarding workflows when needed </li> <li>Make updates to device management tools such as Jamf </li> <li>Ship, receive, and prepare Mac laptops for employees, including occasional visits to our NYC office, or coordinate with in-office staff to ensure preparation &amp; delivery. </li> <li>Perform basic audits and software updates </li> <li>Assist with procurement and inventory tracking </li> <li>Recommend and implement small improvements to IT systems and processes </li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams on short technical projects </li> </ul> What you’ll need: <ul> <li>Solid experience with MacOS administration </li> <li>Familiarity with Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace in a remote-first setup </li> <li>Experience with Jamf or a similar MDM tool </li> <li>Ability to manage IT procurement and asset inventory </li> <li>Self-sufficient and reliable with timely communication </li> <li>Experience with SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar frameworks is a plus </li> <li>Background supporting startups or small teams is preferred</li> </ul> Terms: <ul> <li>$40-55 per hour rate</li> <li>5-15 hours per week but hours may land outside that estimate based on business needs</li> <li>Must be within commutable distance to NYC via train, subway car for occasional onsite needs</li> </ul> Important note: In light of recent increase in hiring scams, if youre selected to move onto the next phase of our hiring process, a member of our Talent Acquisition team will reach out to you directly from an @parsleyhealth.com email address to guide you through our interview process.      Please note:  <ul> <li>We will never communicate with you via Microsoft Teams</li> <li>We will never ask for your bank account information at any point during the recruitment process, nor will we send you a check (electronic or physical) to purchase home office equipment</li> </ul> We look forward to connecting!
