We are open to remote for the right match. <h3>What You’ll Do</h3>You’ll join a small, senior team improving how buildings and cities use space — starting with parking. Your work will directly shape how our customers and internal teams experience Parkade’s products.In this role, you will:<ul><li>Build and maintain high-quality web applications using React and TypeScript, with a focus on performance, scalability, and clean architecture.</li><li>Lead front-end architectural decisions — including component design, shared libraries, and multi-project repo organization.</li><li>Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to build intuitive, accessible user experiences across internal and external products.</li><li>Take ownership of major projects like our Admin App, used internally by Parkade employees.</li><li>Improve tools used by property managers and public-facing features that impact real customers.</li><li>Shape front-end standards, tooling, and deployment practices (e.g., CI/CD, testing frameworks, code reviews). </li></ul><h3>What We’re Looking For</h3><ul><li>5+ years of professional front-end experience — ideally in TypeScript + React web apps (not CMS or marketing sites).</li><li>A proven ability to design, build, and scale complex products — ideally B2C or multi-audience systems.</li><li>Experience working in startup or enterprise environments with high ownership and fast iteration.</li><li>Familiarity with shared component systems, design systems, and monorepo/multi-repo setups.</li><li>Comfort making architectural tradeoffs and implementing long-term solutions that balance speed and maintainability.</li><li>Strong communication skills — able to collaborate as a peer across Engineering, Product, and Design.</li><li>(Bonus) Experience with Python or backend services, and deploying to AWS or Google Cloud.</li><li>(Bonus) You’ve built something from the ground up — whether a startup, open-source project, or internal platform. </li></ul><h3>What You’ll Work On First</h3>Your first focus will be modernizing and improving our internal Admin App, a mission-critical internal tool.
