Join us as we lead the future of telecommunications, driving innovation through green and sustainable networks<span>. </span><a href="https://www.parallelwireless.com/mission-and-vision/">Learn more about our mission, vision and values</a><span>.   </span></div><div><br /></div><div>We are looking for a highly motivated, and passionate, Sr. PHY system engineer for the design, implementation, and integration of advanced cellular communication systems for our next generation base-station products. </div><h3>What youll do:</h3><ul><li>Leading PHY activities from feature development to integration.</li><li>Focal point for all PHY, Beamforming,  and RF-related aspects.</li><li>Defining and writing system-level requirements.</li><li>Continuously optimize and fine-tune PHY layer algorithms to enhance the performance and efficiency of base-station products.</li><li>Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the PHY team, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.</li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of PHY components with software, digital signal processing (DSP), and other subsystems.</li><li>Hands-on Lab work</li></ul><h3>What you should have:</h3><ul><li>At least 5 years of experience in wireless communication/ PHY layer development or integration.</li><li>Good understanding of RX and TX PHY and RF chains.</li><li>Deep understanding of Wireless communication systems.</li><li>Working experience with RF lab test equipment.</li><li>Solid experience with scripting languages (such as MATLAB or Python)</li><li>Good system-level understanding within a multi-disciplinary environment (HW, SW, RF)</li><li>Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English (written and verbal), team player and ability to thrive in a global multi-site environment.</li></ul><h3>Nice to have:</h3><ul><li>Involvement in research and development projects related to emerging wireless technologies, such       as Massive MIMO and beamforming</li><li>Solid knowledge in the physical layer specifications of 4G/5G</li></ul><h3>Education:</h3><ul><li>B.Sc. in Electrical/Computer Engineering </li></ul><div><span>Parallel Wireless is expanding the ecosystem for Open RAN with the GreenRAN™ energy-efficient Hardware-Agnostic technology.
