This is foundational work that requires patience, precision, and deep understanding of organizational data transformation.</p> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Strategic Execution</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Lead implementation of standardized staging layer and self-serve analytics culture, driving transformation from instinct-based to data-informed decision making while establishing governance standards that support organizational growth</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Team Leadership &amp; Development</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Build and lead Analytics Engineers and Data Engineers (6-10 people) for end-to-end delivery, fostering collaborative culture that prioritizes stakeholder needs while growing into people management responsibilities including hiring, performance management, and mentoring</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Technical Program Management</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Oversee modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Segment, Amplitude, Looker) and infrastructure improvements, coordinate cross-functional data initiatives, and translate business requirements into technical roadmaps while communicating capabilities to stakeholders</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Technical Leadership</strong></h3> <ul> <li>3-5 years technical leadership with hands-on modern data stack experience (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow preferred), deep SQL and data modeling expertise, plus product analytics platform experience (Segment/Amplitude) in mid-size companies (300-500+ employees)</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Program Management &amp; Collaboration</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Track record leading cross-functional technical projects with competing priorities, strong stakeholder partnership across business functions with excellent communication skills, and demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and share knowledge</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Strategic Understanding &amp; Leadership</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience with data transformation initiatives and self-serve analytics implementation, strong technical contributor ready to grow into people management (6-10 person team), with collaborative approach emphasizing stakeholder service and foundational capability building</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li>B2B SaaS/platform company experience with data teams of 5-15 people, background working across the data stack from infrastructure to business intelligence, and familiarity with Jira, Salesforce, or similar operational systems</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Our Tech Stack</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Data Warehouse:</strong> Snowflake</li> <li><strong>Data Transformation:</strong> dbt</li> <li><strong>Orchestration:</strong> Apache Airflow on Google Cloud Platform</li> <li><strong>Product Analytics:</strong> Segment and Amplitude</li> <li><strong>BI Tool:</strong> Looker</li> <li><strong>Project Management:</strong> Jira</li> <li><strong>CRM:</strong> Salesforce</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Why This Role Matters</strong></h2> <p>Youll be central to Pantheons transformation into a data-driven organization.
