The PPM will drive scalability, performance, and security across the entire product suite. Additionally, this role will assist the CPO in evaluating Technology Integration Partnerships and conducting product reviews for M&amp;A opportunities. This position is critical to Panopto’s growth and technical foundation.</div><div><br /></div><div><i>How You’ll Contribute</i></div><h3>In this role, you will: </h3><ul><li><b><u>Enable Platform Enhancements &amp; Execution</u></b></li><li><b>Build the Learning Platform Roadmap:</b> Define, prioritize, and manage roadmap commitments for all shared components, including but not limited to:</li><li>AI enabled services and capabilities as platform components</li><li>Authentication and Authorization (SSO, identity management).</li><li>Core APIs and microservices utilized by both product teams.</li><li>Data storage, analytics, and data-sharing services.</li><li>Infrastructure scalability, reliability, and performance enhancements.</li><li>Security and compliance features that apply across the platform.</li><li><b>Drive Architectural Alignment:</b> Work closely with Engineering leadership across Product teams (Panopto and Elai) to ensure shared platform services meet their needs, promote reuse, and maintain technical consistency and efficiency across the organization.</li><li><b>Define Success: </b>Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for platform health, adoption, and performance.</li><li><b>Be the Internal Voice of the Learning Platform:</b> Act as the champion and communicator of platform capabilities, trade-offs, and future vision to internal stakeholders.</li><li><b><u>Strategic Partnerships &amp; Corporate Development</u></b></li><li><b>Engage and foster engagement with customers:</b> Work in conjunction with the colleagues in Product and Customer Experience to engage in Customer Councils and Advisor Boards. This includes getting advice into roadmap efforts and market research.</li><li><b>Technology Integration Partnerships: </b>Assist the CPO in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing technology partners to enhance Panopto’s product ecosystem. This includes defining integration requirements, assessing market fit, and helping to manage the partnership lifecycle.</li><li><b>M&amp;A Review and Due Diligence:</b> Support the CPO in the technical and product review of potential mergers and acquisitions (M&amp;A) targets. This includes assessing the target company’s technology stack, product fit, integration complexity, and value proposition alignment with the Panopto platform goals.</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications:</h3><ul><li><b>Experience:</b> Minimum of 8+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 3 years focused specifically on B2B SaaS platforms, API products, or platform services.</li><li><b>Technical Acumen:</b> Proven ability to understand complex technical architectures, distributed systems, and modern cloud technologies. While not an engineering role, you must be able to speak fluently with engineers about design trade-offs and technical debt.</li><li><b>Strategic Thinking:</b> Exceptional ability to translate business goals into a clear, prioritized, and technical platform execution plan.</li><li><b>Communication &amp; Influence:</b> Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Marketing, </li><li>Experience in a fast-growing, private equity-backed environment is advantageous.</li><li><b>Education:</b> Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications: </h3><ul><li><b>Experience with AI Services and Platforms:</b> Prior work or familiarity with integrating or enabling platform services for AI/ML model deployment, inference APIs, or GenAI services is a significant plus.</li><li><b>Exceptional Communication and Presentation Skills:</b> Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical platform strategies and roadmaps clearly to diverse audiences, including engineers, product managers, and executive leadership.
