Then you’re a Panda we want on our team!</p> <h3>What You Can Expect</h3> <ul> <li>Optimizing and evolving a mature platform of python services.</li> <li>You will be joining a product-minded and quality-aware team that cares about the product and customer experience.</li> <li>Opportunities to grow into a domain expert and lead technical initiatives, while being supported in your growth.</li> <li>Be part of building the foundations of bigger work coming to Q2C in upcoming quarters.</li> </ul> <h3>Your Role</h3> <ul> <li>Apply your technical skills to build and optimize product features.</li> <li>Take end-to-end technical ownership, keeping quality and observability top of mind.</li> <li>Design scalable application architecture.</li> <li>Address tech-debt and evolve the services over time.</li> <li>Collaborate with product managers and adjacent engineering teams to deliver a good product experience.</li> <li>Be a mentor for other engineers.</li> </ul> <p>As a team member, youll work on implementing solutions for integrating product catalog items with pricing and discount details to create efficient, easy to use quoting widgets that kickstart the sales journey. Once a quote is accepted, invoice generation follows, where the technical implementation requires bridging the gap to payment services. </p> <h3>Our stack</h3> <ul> <li>Service-oriented architecture but be prepared to deal with legacy code as well as monolithic services based on the Django framework.</li> <li>Stack based on:</li> <ul> <li>Python - primarily AsyncIO frameworks and libraries, plus Django-based services and extensive Celery as well as Temporal workloads,</li> <li>Java (~10%) - services based on Spring Boot with custom extensions, Java 21, and Gradle as a build tool.</li> </ul> <li>AWS and K8S - used for provisioning and deploying workloads.</li> <li>Cross-service communication via NATS, gRPC, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.</li> <li>Prometheus/Grafana stack for monitoring and alerting.</li> </ul> <h3>About you</h3> <ul> <li>Strong development experience with:</li> <ul> <li>Python and Django, </li> <li>microservice-based architectures</li> <li>relational databases (SQL queries, migrations, optimization),</li> <li>message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, NATS, Kafka),</li> <li>API design.</li> </ul> <li>Committed to writing and delivering high-quality code.</li> <li>User-focused mindset – you put yourself in the shoes of your users and aim to create great experiences.</li> <li>Strong communication skills in English – able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to product managers, designers, customer support, and fellow engineers.</li> </ul> <h3>Company Overview</h3> <p>PandaDoc empowers more than 60,000 growing organizations to thrive by taking the work out of document workflow.
