Our goal is to create an environment where we all win with precision.<h3>Job Description</h3>Your CareerAs a Professional Services Consultant for Cloud Security, you will design, deploy, and integrate Palo Alto Networks solutions across public and private cloud environments. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our virtualized, you’ll engage directly with customer stakeholders—both onsite and remotely—to drive secure, scalable implementations.Your ImpactAs a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Palo Alto Networks virtualized solutions, youll work directly with customers and project teams, providing technical direction and innovative solutions to complex problems. This role is crucial for enabling our customers to achieve optimal outcomes from our technology as they embrace cloud principles. Youll be responsible for:<ul><li>Lead the design and integration of Palo Alto Networks security solutions in cloud and virtualized environments</li><li>Enable customer adoption of secure, automated architectures—including workloads and agentic applications</li><li>Automate deployments using infrastructure-as-code and scripting best practices</li><li>Collaborate with customer stakeholders and internal teams (Consulting Engineers, TAC, Security Architects) to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions</li><li>Demonstrate the value, reliability, and robustness of deployed solutions</li><li>Provide operational handoff and enablement for customer security and DevOps teams</li><li>Document solution designs, reusable templates, and technical artifacts</li><li>Troubleshoot complex challenges across cloud and virtualization environments</li><li>Own deliverables independently or while leading small delivery teams</li><li>Travel up to 15–20% for onsite engagements as required</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3>Your Experience Were looking for someone who is not only technically proficient but also passionate about cloud security and customer success. Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, business, or equivalent education/experience</li><li>Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly</li><li>Cloud Platforms: Minimum of 3 years of experience with Public Cloud Platforms Architecture and Deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP)</li><li>Virtualization: Architecture and delivery experience with Enterprise and/or Service Provider customers utilizing virtualization environments such as OpenStack, NSX, and Kubernetes</li><li>Security Solutions: Minimum of 2 years of experience building and integrating security solutions in large enterprise environments</li><li>Networking: Strong understanding of Internet protocols and applications.</li><li>Multitasking: Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Scripting: Experience in Python, Ansible, or Terraform</li><li>Project Leadership: Demonstrated project leadership skills</li><li>Cloud Certification: Associate-level cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.</li><li>Nice to Haves: AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional</li><li>AWS Advanced Certified Networking Specialty</li><li>MCSE Cloud Platforms</li><li>VMware VCAP6-NV</li><li>Scripting experience in CFT</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3>The TeamOur professional services team is critical to our success and mission.
